International Women’s Day Breakfast

On the 8th of March 2025, 80 women got together at the AFL/Cricket Centre Function Room in Blacktown International Sports Park, bright and early, for a lively and wholesome morning. A full plate of breakfast and ongoing coffee was provided, inspiring speakers, a thought provoking panel, and of course, a giddha/bhangra performance! We had a mini-trivia and a raffle worth over $600 won by one of our attendees.
This event was a first of its kind - it was one of the first International Women’s Day Breakfasts in Sydney with an all South Asian panel.
Theme: Dealing with intersectionality bias and practical ways to empower ourselves and future generations of brown women living in Australia.
